About Francesca
I am a senior who just graduated from Denver School of the Arts with a major of theatre/dance. I am currently studying to earn my degree in arts education. I have worked as a dancer/actor professionally for the past six years in Denver and have danced for the past 17 years. I have advanced knowledge in tap, hip hop, ballet, modern jazz, and choreography. I also teach salsa and professionalism classes. I love to dance and I believe it is the best way for people to express themselves creatively while keeping their body active. I truly believe dance is one of the most beautiful art forms and I hope I get to spread my love for dance and knowledge to as many students as possible and help make them the best dancer they can be.

Because I am also a student I am very intentional about creating an enriching and challenging environment for learning, while also going the pace that best supports my clients. I also am bilingual (Spanish and English) so I can reach as many dancers as possible. My first lesson includes a warm up and a lot of basic steps we will use throughout the course. After the first lesson I ask students come warmed-up with techniques they know or that I have taught them. (This can change depending on how young the student is). I believe doing is the most effective way to learn, so all of my classes include mini routines to help sharpen attention to detail, variety, and overall technique. I also teach dance professionalism, how to survive a dance audition, and ways to keep up with your physical health and dance at home. Because I am a student myself I know exactly what works and what doesn't for young artists, and how to shift depending on what works best for my students. I can teach all ages up to pre-professional artists. Please reach out if you have any questions!
