About Olivia
I am a graduate of Columbia University and Trinity College Dublin. I majored in English Literature at both universities and completed an Advanced Minor in Anthropology at Columbia.
I have supported students with their academic writing for school and their CommonApp essays. Some of my tutees have gone on to attend universities such as the University of Virginia, Cal Poly SLO, Columbia University, and the University of San Diego, to name a few. I have taught students across different formats and settings, whether in private tutoring sessions, in classrooms, or in jails. These experiences have solidified a belief that everyone deserves an educational experience that meets them where they’re at.

Tutoring with me will help you strengthen your argumentation, clarity, and expression of thought, and will help you stay committed to doing your work to accomplish the task at hand, whether that’s raising a grade, or finishing an essay, or something else entirely.
Most importantly, I believe in supporting students so that they feel capable to do this work themselves, to know themselves and their approach to learning, and to apply their knowledge of self to support their own learning.
