I also have experience doing research in math and physics with a record of published journal articles. I usually teach by example and by explaining the theoretical concepts. When it comes to experiment, I usually help students understand that their experimental set up is sound and valid. I can tutor most math and physics undergraduate courses.
Depending on the student's style of learning, I either walk through the logical steps that are needed to understand solutions to problems or I suggest tips on how to get started. I believe that curiosity, motivation and small achievements at learning concepts are a great way to learn.
