About Jacklyn

My name is Jacklyn Zamayoa and this is my sixth year of teaching. I have had the privilege of teaching students across both middle and high school levels, which has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs and potential of every learner. From leading classroom discussions to supporting students in after-school programs, I have dedicated myself to creating an environment where all students feel valued, inspired, and supported.

My approach to teaching goes beyond just delivering lessons—it’s about fostering a connection. Students in my class know they are in a safe space where their voices matter and their growth is the priority. Whether we’re diving into a complex text, developing writing skills, or working through challenges together, I ensure every student feels comfortable taking risks and striving for excellence.
