About Suzannah

Hi there! My name is Suzannah and I am a recent Theoretical Physics graduate from UCD. I have professional experience working as a physics laboratory demonstrator for undergraduate students, and years of experience in tutoring in both Math and Physics. I completed my Leaving Certificate in 2019 in The Institute of Education, gaining an in-depth knowledge of what exactly State Correctors and Examiners are looking for in a candidate, and collecting a wealth of resources to this effect. I am an enthusiastic and involved teacher, and love nothing more than getting young people interested in science. In doing so, it is crucial to build their confidence in the field through a solid foundation and in-depth understanding of course materials.

About the lesson

I have professional experience working as a physics laboratory demonstrator for undergraduate students teaching and correcting foundational physics laboratories, as well as years of experience in private tutoring in both Math and Physics. On top of this, I have been a Peer Mentor for younger students in Science at UCD so am confident in my mentoring approach and capabilities.

I will help you/your child to form a solid foundation in Physics or Maths, assisting in building up confidence and competence in the subjects. I massively encourage coming with questions as I believe inquisition to be key for comprehension and engagement with topics. I can cater to individual students' needs, pace and interests by either providing a structured subject plan for the entire course or focusing on certain topics which pose issues for the student. Most importantly my aim is to get people engaged in the subjects in the hopes that they end up loving them as much as I do!
