About Anthony
My name is Anthony Nieves, I studied jazz at BMCC, got my associates degree and am attending The City College of New York to get my Bachelors degree in
What I look to do with teaching, is to help shape the future for musicians. I want to help those who love music that you can chase what you love and make a living out of it. I started to become a musician because of my mother. She asked me, “what do you want to do with your life?” I always carry that with me. I’m not a musician because I care about fame or money. I’m a musician because I want to give the world a bit of hope and show others that even though it’s a scary world, there’s a bit of light within it.
