Though I always build a rapport with my students, I also maintain certain boundaries; however, I am compassionate and understanding, striving to always be a safe space for my students.
My students always respect me and know that I will not give them the opportunity to fail (on purpose). Trust that I will push you beyond what you think you’re capable of, because I believe that there’s always room for improvement.

Having a Jamaican teacher background, as well as 5+ years of experience teaching in the American school system, I believe I’m equipped to handle students from different demographic backgrounds; thus, being able to cater to the learning styles of more students.
I am very knowledgeable about my content area; I always tailor lessons to suit my students’ learning needs; I am compassionate and strive to give each student the individual time they need.
