About Victoria

Hello my name is Victoria, and I am a graduate at Pendleton Sixth Form College, where I completed A-Levels in Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics. I am passionate about education and helping students succeed, which is why I offer tutoring in English (GCSE & A-Level) and Maths (GCSE). I believe that every student can achieve their potential with the right guidance and support. My goal as a tutor is to make learning clear, engaging, and enjoyable, while helping students build confidence and improve their grades. I bring both knowledge and experience to my lessons, ensuring that each session is structured, professional, and tailored to the student’s individual needs. I take pride in my patient, encouraging, and approachable teaching style, and I am dedicated to creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. Teaching is not just a skill for me it is a passion. I am committed to helping my students reach their academic goals and develop skills that last beyond exams.

About the lesson

I am a graduate of St. Ambrose Barlow High School and Pendleton Sixth Form College, where I completed my A-Levels in Computer Science, Engineering, and Physics. I offer personalised tutoring in English (GCSE & A-Level) and Maths (GCSE). My tutoring approach is student-focused and adaptable. I start by assessing each student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then create structured lessons tailored to their individual learning style. I use a combination of clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive exercises to make concepts easy to understand and to boost confidence. Typical lessons are 1 hour long, but I can adjust the length based on the student’s needs. I encourage active participation, regular questioning, and step-by-step problem solving to ensure that students not only memorise content but truly understand and apply it. My lessons are suitable for students preparing for GCSE and A-Level English, as well as GCSE Maths, and are ideal for learners of any age who want to improve grades, build confidence, or develop stronger study skills. I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students feel confident to ask questions and make progress at their own pace.
