About Kate Rose

Hello World!

My name is Kate and I am here to tend to all of your English learning needs. I am a passionate, dedicated and experienced English Instructor who loves to help others🫶🏼.

I am 22 years old and have grown up living on a farm in the beautiful country South Africa. Very proud of how I can call this place Home!

Teaching is my passion and I am dedicated to making this learning path an exciting and enjoyable one! have great people skills and love to learn about new cultures and meet new people.

My strengths lie in communication, having recieved an A-Aggregate (Cum Laude) in my Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Communication from the University of Cape Town. I use these skills to be able to communicate clearly and concisely to all of my students, making it an easy way for my students to understand and remember.

I have a great interest in general knowledge and I am able to discuss a broad range of topics, whether it be politics, religion, food, world issues, movements and cultures.

I have an Undergraduate from Fedisa Fashion school in Bachelor of Arts: Fashion and a Postgraduate Diploma: Business Communication from The University of Cape Town.

We can do speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading, article discussion, business, English or anything that you would like to practice.

I am very excited to meet you all and get to know awesome people in this experience, aswell as be able to help you develop your confidence in speaking English.

About the lesson

I have 5 years experience of in-person tutoring. I tutored Grades 8-12, Mathematics Literacy, English First Language, Business Studies, Biology, Consumer Studies aswell as Life Orientation. My experience was not through a company, I worked with a family for multiple years tutoring their daughters throughout High School. I am a tutor currently for a 15 year old boy at a Private IEB school aswell, for various school subjects including English First Language.

Recieving a distinction in my English First Language exam, and my passion for the subject, I feel that I am able to motivate my students to learn to love English as much as I do! Book a trial lesson today and we can take it from there!
