About Philip

I graduated with a Second Class Upper in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In addition to this, I have a Distinction in Mathematics in Senior School Certificate. I have been teaching Further Maths since my days in high school. Mathematics is something I do naturally, and I enjoy it. I have tutored over 100 students in Mathematics. Most of my students have achieved outstanding performances in their various examinations. I always try to make every student I teach have a deep understanding of the subject. I allow students to learn at their pace and learn what they need to know. With a proper understanding of mathematical concepts, learning Mathematics becomes interesting and enjoyable.

About the lesson

I get to know the level of understanding of the student in any topic to be taught so that I can know where he or she is weak. To achieve this, I consider the student's level, learning pace, and interests. I have multiple teaching methods I use depending on which method works best for a particular student. I take things step-by-step to make sure the student understands better. The best teaching method for a student will improve his or her overall performance. I apply patience and friendliness when teaching students at their level until I can bring out the best in them.
