Knowing my students well, for example, goals, struggles and interests. Build relationships with them interpersonal skills, are they visual auditory, hands-on or verbal learners. Assess skill levels, and confidence with quizzes and diagnostic tests. Set custom goals. Break larger goals (like pass math exam) into manageable tasks. Applying SMART goals (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound). Adjust teaching styles: Regular feedback Encouraging students through weekly awards. Example: student: 13-year-old struggling with math, loves football. Personal Approach: • Use football scores and stats in math problems. • Break lessons into 20-minute segments with short breaks. • Use a whiteboard and visual aids. • Weekly goal: “Understand fractions through pizza slices.” • Encourage journaling how the lesson felt.
