About Nathan Parkinson
I graduated from East 15 Acting school in 2014. Since then I formed my own theatre company: which means I perform, direct and write plays that have toured to theatres across the UK and internationally, including runs on London's West End. I have extensive knowledge of the UK theatre industry and drama school network. My experience as an Actor and Director mean that I understand how to approach a text as an actor AND how to work with an actor on their text.

First we can talk about your goals and aspirations. Then depending on your particular aim, we can dive into it. Until we meet I can't say precisely what we will be doing as it will be tailored to you but we might:
-Find a monolgue
-Talk about the piece
-Look at the beats, shifts, motivation of the character.
-Work together on performance choices looking at flow and journey.
-Look at audition technique: articulation, eye line, voice, connection.
Typical length of a lesson might be 45-60mins.
My lessons are for anyone, regardless of age, looking to work on monologues or wanting advice with their acting/theatre-making career.
