About China Aleisse
I am a multi-faceted creative professional, encompassing the roles of writer, producer, and creative director. With a diverse background in poetry, copywriting, and editorial work, I have honed my skills in various facets of the literary and artistic realms. Throughout my journey, I have successfully produced numerous captivating plays, while also contributing as an ESL Teaching Assistant, nurturing the growth of language learners. Furthermore, I have made significant contributions as an Instructional Designer for an esteemed education platform, leveraging my expertise to shape impactful learning experiences.
My endeavors have been met with recognition and accolades, having been honored with esteemed awards from both DePaul University (Emerging Writer 2014) and Melbourne Fringe Festival (Best in Words & Ideas 2018). The latter accolade specifically celebrated a short film and live event that I meticulously directed and produced, leaving an indelible mark on the artistic landscape. Following my undergraduate studies, I made a life-changing decision to relocate to Australia, thus establishing a significant portion of my career overseas. This unique opportunity has allowed me to forge robust global networks and acquire valuable knowledge that I seamlessly integrate into my work within the United States.
