About Nicholas
I have worked as a tutor for 7 years, with a number of clients ranging in age, subject matter, and motivation. I am able to adapt to my students and their needs and seek to help them to the best of my ability. My tutoring experience includes working as a teaching assistant in college for general chemistry, organic chemistry, and anatomy and physiology. It also includes tutoring students in third-grade math, so I feel confident and comfortable helping students regardless of their age or learning level.

My lessons are direct yet thorough, breaking down concepts into easy-to-understand pieces. I utilize both assignments and practice problems to practice problem-solving and ensure an understanding of the concepts at hand. I always encourage questions and am eager to help, whether it be trying different approaches or repeating parts of the lesson to help the student feel confident with the subject matter. My lessons are mostly for students in middle and high school, but I also am happy to tutor students in elementary school.
