About Smriti
A student of chemistry, trying to make the subject accessible and student-friendly. I am also a Bharatanatyam dancer juggling the art form and my pursuit of a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from St. Joseph's University. If I am not reading chemistry, you will find me dancing away.

Chemistry is often misunderstood to be difficult and mind boggling. Oh! The huge number of elements, molecules and compounds! The endless struggle with stoichiometry, the puzzling IUPAC nomenclature and aromaticity! Chemistry was taught to me with real life examples and easy to understand methods, and that is exactly how I have been teaching my students to look at chemistry. It is all around us, within us and is a pivotal part of the existence of everything!
Learning chemistry with me will be fun, easy and with a lot of clarity. No mugging up, no half-baked learning.
