About Sean Thor
As a student of the Natural Sciences Tripos at Cambridge, I understand the value of a broad understanding of how maths and the sciences interconnect to explain and parametrise the natural world around us. I strongly believe in learning through joy for one's subject, and understanding the reasons to be inspired by what you are learning and what the implications of the learning are for the real world. I hope that my students leave my sessions more interested and engaged with the natural world around them and human interaction and manipulation of it than they were beforehand, as well as armed to better explore that world themselves.

I work with each student individually to find a teaching style that best suits them. I produce engaging, individualised lessons that meet the needs of students to meet their own specific goals. Structured work is provided both inside and outside of lessons to ensure continuous progress. Lessons will be oriented to fit specific interests of students who would like to explore aspects of subjects they are personally interested in and expand their understanding beyond a curriculum or require specific focus on improving.
