About Tara
Working as a teaching assistant has helped me grow in my teaching skills, learning approach, and subject knowledge. As a student, I know that learning new topics can be tough. As a tutor, I want to create a learning environment that encourages students to build on their abilities, no matter what level they are starting from, and eventually be self-sufficient enough not to need a tutor.

I tailor my lessons based on the students' needs, level, and their school's expectations. I aim to be as flexible as possible with time and content.
I encourage lots of questions, mistakes, and a relaxed learning environment. My goal is to always help students understand the "why" behind what they're learning.
My lessons are for middle school to high school biology students.
