About Joan
My name is Teacher Joan, and I am from the Philippines. I am a licensed professional teacher with more than five years of teaching experience, and I am very passionate about helping students learn and improve their English skills.
I believe that learning English should be fun, meaningful, and exciting. In my class, I always make sure that my students feel comfortable, encouraged, and confident while learning. I understand that studying a new language can sometimes be challenging, but don’t worry because I will guide and support you every step of the way.
I have experience teaching students with different ages, personalities, and learning levels—from beginners to more advanced learners. Because of this, I have learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on the needs of my students. I always try to create lessons that are engaging, interactive, and easy to understand.
In our class, we can practice conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and sentence construction. We can talk about topics related to daily life, hobbies, travel, culture, work, school, and many more. I also encourage my students to speak as much as possible because I believe that confidence is one of the keys to becoming fluent in English.
