About Micaella
With 11 years of experience as a freelance private tutor, I have taught and worked with various types of students. I have taught students how to read and helped those who struggle with mathematics solve word problems and understand key concepts. I also share my own techniques to help students learn and understand topics more easily.
Most importantly, I am friendly while maintaining professionalism. I make sure that my students feel comfortable around me while also ensuring that I correct their mistakes and guide them toward improvement.

I am a tutor who explains concepts clearly and even imparts techniques, particularly in mathematical topics.
I always begin in assessing the level of knowledge the student already has about the topic then proceeding to the topic by providing multiple explanations. Then I provide enrichment exercises and assessments to ensure that the student understands the topic before proceeding to the next topic.
I encourages asking questions. I also let them explain the topic in their own words to test how much they understand it. And, most importantly, I am friendly and easy to approachso that my students will feel comfortable around me.
I can teach anyone, from primary to secondary. I can teach from phonetics and reading, to elementary math, to higher mathematics, as well as all science subjects. I can also teach grammar, from spelling to proper subject-verb agreements.
