About Youstina
As students learn at different rates, patience is a skill I possess which is beneficial for this role. I believe I am an individual with a calm character and a flexible mindset so students will be able to communicate their inquiries without hesitation. By patience and understanding, I aim to promote their critical thinking skills to utilize math alongside other studies and in everyday situations.
I am committed and enthusiastic about my field of study in engineering and I want to share my enthusiasm by showing practical examples of where a STEM subject can lead them to study in university (such as civil/architectural engineering) and beyond.

Mathematics may seem a daunting subject to some students. The teaching methodology I adopt will depend according to the particular unit of syllabus. Through motivation and by using a positive approach to communicate math principles effectively to students, they can cope with frustration and not quickly withdraw themselves from any difficulties.
A typical length for a lesson will be no more than an hour.
I am a graduate architectural engineer from Cardiff University with previous experience in teaching mathematics. I have assisted teachers in preparing and implementing GCSE mathematics curriculum for set 3 classes with 20+ students and have given 1:1 support to small groups.
My lessons are for GCSE to A Level students at any level.
