About Epifanio

I am a patient tutor. I understand what the student needs right away after spending some tutoring time with them. I love to explain things in the easiest and most effective way but I can also do it by formal proofs and by intuition.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Jojo, a graduate-level tutor with advanced training in quantitative subjects. I hold a doctorate in Economics, a Master’s degree in Statistics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

For over 10 years, I have helped college and graduate students succeed in mathematically demanding courses, including Calculus I, II, and III, multivariable calculus, and related quantitative coursework.

My teaching style is clear, structured, and focused on building strong intuition step-by-step. I work especially well with students preparing for midterms and finals, completing homework assignments, or strengthening foundational skills for economics, engineering, finance, and data science programs.

I competed in some Math olympiads back in HS so I know how to explain concepts in the easiest and most effective way possible. However, I can also explain things using formal proofs or by intuition.

I look forward to helping you feel confident and successful in calculus.
