About Pariwash
Hey there! My name’s Pariwash and I’m a grade 11 IB student attending M.E Lazerte High School! I'm planning on becoming a doctor one day, which is why I believe in implementing efficient study habits early on in a child's life, regardless of a student's career path or future goals. I believe in healthy study habits with optimizing time so that you don't have to sit at your desk for hours doing homework, but also getting the grades you work so hard for. During my academic life, I've consistently achieved high results and helped my peers in doing the same, teaching them study methods and personal tricks to help them bring their grades up. Through my school peer tutoring program, I've helped many people who struggle in a variety of different subjects get to their strong points. As someone who's recently mastered and learned a lot of the subjects and areas that students often have issues with, I can aid in assisting them without overcomplicating it, and breaking it down to simple terms! Every student has the potential to excel academically, all a student needs is the right resources and people to help and adjust to their needs, and I'm happy to help!

My lessons are for students of all ages and strength levels when it comes to math. Whether you're in the 6th grade struggling with fractions, or in the 9th grade preparing for PAT's, I can help you get to the level you need to ace your exams. With a 97% in 10 IB math, I can relate to struggles students may have in certain areas of a subject, and I can teach the tips and tricks to remember so you fly through exams with a breeze and bump up your averages up easily. Breaking down concepts, easy to understand mnemonics, and step by step instructions are the best way to get your kids to build confidence in their math skills, and I’m happy to help!
I pull my teaching strategies directly from the Alberta Curriculum and textbooks. I can cover a large scope of information, techniques, and problems, teach curriculum, exam or test preparations, and also help with specific weak points any student may have. I also understand teachers' different teaching styles and can use that information to see what your tests or exams may look like, alongside preparing you accordingly.
I can help 6th graders prepare for their PAT's, teach honors/pre-AP/pre-IB level middle school math. Especially when it comes to Grade 9 level PAT preparation, and Grade 10 IB level math with all its difficult concepts, I can ensure that your child will no longer consider math a sore subject, or boost their averages up if they're already strong. It doesn't matter what skill level your child is at, if you just want to strengthen certain areas, get your grades above 90’s, or grasp the basics of your grade, please don't hesitate to reach out.
I can teach virtually through zoom calls for more accessibility and convenience, but I can also teach in person at my home for more physical and in depth lessons.
