About Sunish
I am currently a part of the International Baccalaureate program and in grade 12. I am the recipient of the Excellence award for HOSA Pathophysiology 2022 as well as being placed top 3 Canada-wide in that competition. I also came 2nd place in the Hamilton Brain Bee 2021. I also contain a level 4 RCM certificate in the Clarinet. I would love to transfer such skills I have learned to my students.

For a typical lesson, I begin with an attention-grabbing math-related riddle to pique curiosity. I then delve into the day's topic, breaking it down into manageable parts using relatable scenarios. Through interactive activities, practice problems, and discussions, I encourage active participation and collaboration. Challenging problems stimulate critical thinking and highlight the practical applications of the concepts learned. Each lesson concludes with a summary of key takeaways and a preview of the next exciting topic.
My strength lies in creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions and explore mathematical challenges without fear. I am empathetic towards students' struggles and enthusiastic about celebrating their successes. Through my patient and encouraging demeanor, I instill confidence in my students, helping them overcome math anxiety and build a strong foundation for future learning.
I am excited to contribute my expertise to students in grades 1 to 8. My adaptable teaching methods make learning accessible for students with various learning preferences and levels of mathematical proficiency.
