About Caitlyn
I have had a passion for history since being introduced to the subject in grade 4. I had consistently scored high marks and secured distinctions in the subject, boasting common compliments from educators.
Many parents and students write off history as a subject as they find essay writing to be daunting, and fail to see the importance of the content and the skills it teaches. I believe history is one of the most valuable subjects and should not be taken for granted. History teaches analysis skills, media literacy, and critical thinking. I believe those are some of the most important skills to have in this day and age.

I offer hourly tutoring sessions for grade 4-9 learners, providing understanding and support in weak areas. My lessons include comprehensive overview of content, assistance in answering source-based questions and essay writing tips and tricks, perfectly tailored to suit my students needs. My goal is to improve your child’s history mark and/or essay writing ability whether that is in history, english or economics. Allowing your child to secure a distinction in the aforementioned subjects.
