About Ana
Hello! My name is Ana and I am a Year 12 student with a strong interest in medicine. I achieved grades 8 and 9 across all my GCSEs and am now studying Biology, Chemistry, English Literature and Philosophy at A level.
I'm a very patient person who really enjoys working with others. I understand that every student learns differently, so I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
As I just recently finished my GCSEs, I have an excellent understanding of the courses, exams and revision techniques, as well as helpful websites and resources.
Outside of school I have been a student librarian for almost 6 years, as well as a competitive swimmer, so I truly understand how difficult it can be to organise effectively. I would love to be able to help students!

I aim to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs by first identifying areas that they are struggling with and then working through these step-by-step. I would use explanations, worked examples, practice questions and active recall.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, although this can be adapted depending on the student's individual needs.
I am currently a Year 12 student at Tonbridge grammar School and achieved grades 8 and 9 across all my GCSE subjects. I have tutored younger students in school, and have a strong understanding of the demands of GCSE examinations, as well as effective exam techniques.
I offer tutoring primarily for studentsstuding at GCSE level, particularly Years 9-11. I would also be happy to work with younger students who are preparing for secondary school, or those who would benefit from additional support. I am able to tutor in Biology, Mathematics, English Language, History and Religious Studies.
