About Andrea

My name is Andrea and I am currently a Grade 12 French Immersion and Advanced Placement student. I have a passion for teaching math, art and French and have experience tutoring students in each subject. As an AP student, I love to challenge myself with more advanced coursework and have developed a greater understanding in these subjects. As a student myself, I understand that time and patience is necessary to fully understanding key concepts and that every student learns differently. With that in mind, I tailor each of my lessons to students individual learning styles and will support you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My goal is to help you gain more confidence in your math skills as well as your problem solving. I tailor each lesson to a students individual needs, matching their learning style and pace ensuring their understanding. I try to create my lessons engaging to make math enjoyable and build off what they are currently learning in school to ensure their success. With high school students, I can help prepare for exams by working through questions and giving extra tips and tricks for success. Creating a strong foundation in math will help for years to come, with patience and encouragement together we can thrive academically!
