About Zach
My name is Zach Zito. I am a student of Mathematics, Physics, and Philosophy at Utah State University and love learning new things. My hobbies include golfing, and playing piano, and lifting weights, and I enjoy spending time with my family. Over the course of my scholastic career, I have mastered skills that are pivotal for academic achievement . My approach to teaching and learning can be encapsulated in three basic tenets:
1. Building upon a solid foundation of thorough understanding is the most effective and rewarding way to achieve academic success.
2. Armed with the right tools, every learner is capable of achieving success.
3. The learner's active involvement and their determination to learn are fundamental to the achievement of academic success.
These pedagogical principles guide the learning process.
Tutoring sessions are designed to maximize the learner's chances of success. They are generally 55 minutes in length and held virtually.
Each session begins with a review and assessment of the learner's goals. During the session, learners will be able to ask questions and address any concerns they might have. After interactive instruction and effective practices, the session is ended with the tutor and learner each committing to accomplish specified tasks in preparation for the next session.
