About Sunil

I love anything numbers or reasoning! And hailing from one of the most competitive countries (India) by sheer virtue of its population, I understand what it takes to get an edge over the other test takers or test setters themselves. I use visualization techniques to solve problems that can crack some extremely difficult questions in a matter of seconds.
I look forward to introducing you to my world of quant & reasoning and I hope you'll appreciate it.

About the lesson

I have over 5 years experience in tutoring Math at various levels including Quantitative Ability for common aptitude tests. My most recent GMAT score is a 760 (Q50 V44), a score I achieved with the help of private tutoring after plateauing at a 710 level using online resources. I therefore understand the benefits of tutoring and would like to extend this support to candidates who are preparing for GMAT.

I start with a diagnostic session that includes solving questions in both Quant and Verbal to understand your current level, following which I craft a tailored curriculum so that I can focus on strengthening the weak areas while not dropping the the ball on the stronger areas. I also share useful strategies for the test day, something I believe is as critical as getting the basic concepts right in QA or VA. These strategies can by themselves help add over 20 points to your GMAT score.

My goal with each student is to always make sure they're thorough in all basic concepts before diving into advanced problems or complex test strategies. If you have the apetite for some challenging questions, I have a good respository outside Official Guides which we can solve in our sessions. Lastly, I hope I am able to pass on this passion for Quant & Verbal to you, which I believe is the x-factor to acing the GMAT!
