Marlon is deserving of super professional status. Communications prompt and courteous. First of all, a quick free half hour on Zoom in which he took care to identify my learning objectives. Great listener and clearly wants to ensures pupils get a custom made package. I wanted to learn how to do some home recording. I had all the gear (for about 8 years)....but no idea! And this was one area in which Youtube, unusually, couldn't help me.

In the first lesson, from a standing start, as a senior well behind the digital curve, I learned about DAWs etc., and was given a practical, real life demonstration of how recordings can be done. It was as if I'd been given the key to unlock what had been a total block for all these years. When I got home I put together a few chords (from which a tune emerged) and began multilayering my own wee project. Magic! Who'd of thought?

I'd forgotten some of the editing and tweaking controls/commands, but on second lesson (in my own music room), even more of the mystery was demystified.

Still got lots to learn but , most importantly, I have actually got started. I just feel so encouraged and freed up to become ever more musically creative....an ambition that has been so frustrated for ages. Great to have found Marlon and very grateful for all that he's shown me and that his knowledge has been imparted so thoughtfully, sensitively and professionally. Highly recommended!
