About Tomi
I am medical student about to enter into my 5th and final year of medical school at Cardiff University. I intercalated in Population Medicine between my 4th and 5th year. Whilst at school, I was by no means the smartest in my class. I wanted to be a doctor but I doubted myself, it was the support I received from my teachers and external groups that enabled me to get into medicine. They helped me to perfect my techniques, to be more confident and most importantly, to believe in myself. I am so grateful for the advice I received and where I am today because of it, and I would love for nothing more than to give this same encouragement to others.
