About Homi
I am a software programmer and Certified Microsoft Solution Developer from Sweden. Beside software programming, Math and Art have been my main passions and I have been lucky to have the opportunity to work with both of them. Please, don't hesitate to contact me and let me help you with your questions in Algebra, Trigonometry or Pre Calculus.
I was working at Bodwell International High School, in North Vancouver, as a Math Tutor and helped students from grade 8 to grade 11. At Bodwell I had students from all around the world. From Russia, China, Mexico, Korea,....., so I have lots of experience working with a wide range of cultures and different level of knowledge. Over the years of teaching I realized that students need encouragement and motivation for learning difficult subjects like math, and foundation is very important too. As an example, it would be extremely hard for a student to learn calculus, if his knowledge in algebra is not enough. Because of those reasons I use to do lots and lots of examples at every session. I don't ask students to do. I just ask them to watch me and pay attention while I do lots of examples, because after awhile of watching, they will be encouraged to do examples by themselves. That is my teaching method.
