I would pro-rate my fee depending on how much of the hour is used. Thirty minutes is ten dollars. Fifteen minutes, five. For three hours and fifteen minutes spent working on a paper I would not charge you for four hours, but for the three hours and the pro-rated fifteen minutes.

Make no mistake. I would not be writing your paper for you, but taking you through the process of creating your own, from brainstorming for a topic to familiarization reading to developing a thesis to focused research to support the thesis (or modify it should the research require it) to the outlining and drafting stages.

I am fine with guiding you by phone, but it is best we work together with at least one laptop in a location where we can do research.
