About Daphne
I grew up in Germany and lived there until I was 17 years old before immigrating to Canada in 2019. Shortly after my arrival, the COVID-19 pandemic brought significant challenges and changes, further strengthening my adaptability, resilience, and appreciation for community support. Experiencing life in two countries has given me a unique perspective on culture, identity, and the importance of inclusive environments.
I recently earned my Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Sociology, with a Minor in Disabilities. My studies deepened my understanding of social inequality, diversity, inclusion, and the barriers many individuals face within educational and social systems. These experiences, combined with my multicultural background and fluency in German and English, have shaped my passion for creating welcoming, equitable spaces where all individuals feel respected, supported, and empowered to succeed.
