About Cagla
Hi there!
I am a native German speaker from Austria and graduated in German Philology (University of Innsbruck and University of Manchester) and Journalism (University of Roehampton).
I am highly engaged with the German grammar, literature, philosophy and politics and currently working at the cultural department of the Austrian embassy in London.
I’m an experienced tutor in both individual lessons (preparing students in Austria for their A-levels and foreign students for their German Uni exams) and group lessons up to six people (I have experience teaching German to under-aged refugees and giving them a better understanding of the German and Austrian culture).
During my BA, I also studied one term abroad at the University of Manchester, during which I tutored my fellow (English) students and helped them with exam preparation and assignments.
It is highly important to me that the students I’m teaching always feel comfortable to ask as many questions as they want so that they can understand the subject to its highest level.

Cagla has been very helpful to refresh my German skills from school. Going now to Germany to study, she has prepared me well with the essential grammar and improved my pronunciation.
