About Mia
My name is Mia and I am a pianist and sport enthusiast who loves languages. I had the privilege of growing up speaking German and moved to Germany for a few years. I have also finished grade 12 level German.

My teaching methods are fun and engaging, focusing on building confidence by applying the language to every day life. A typical class would include vocabulary review, practising writing skills and speaking when possible. My classes are geared towards high school or elementary school students. What I believe makes me special as a tutor is my experience living in Germany and being immersed in the culture, which gives me an extra level of understanding of the language.
