About Dot
I have just graduated from the University of Nottingham with a 2:1 in BA German with Dutch. I have now moved to Manchester to study a part time Masters in Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Manchester. I am looking to do some tutoring in German and/or Dutch alongside my degree. I have experience working as an English language teaching assistant in a primary school in Germany. I independently taught English classes and ran my own after school English club once a week. I also gave one on one German lessons to refugee pupils. I have also worked as an aupair in Germany where I looked after two boys ages 2-4 and helped them to learn English. I like to teach in an interactive way where the pupil can really get involved in their learning and retain their attention and interest in the subject. I am always looking at new ways of learning and ways to engage the pupil and make language learning a fun and interesting experience.
