About Meghan
In high school, I hated math & sciences. That was until I had a fantastic teacher, who provided me with the foundation to approach these subjects with a problem-solving mindset. I aspire to have that level of impact on my students.
I have since earned a BSc in Geophysics with Honours from the University of British Columbia (2019) and an MSc in Glaciology from the University of Calgary. During my graduate work, I received a Certificate in Teaching & Learning, refining and expanding my teaching skills while working as a teaching assistant.
Evident from my academic background, I am passionate about Earth Sciences, and the application of math, physics, and remote sensing. However, I also enjoy alpine skiing, mountain biking, hiking, photography and painting! I hope we can both learn something from each other.

Many of my past students have described my teaching presence as “approachable” and commented on the effectiveness of my strategies as I “point [them] in the direction you need to go", allowing the student to make discoveries on their own.
