About Raivo
Hey, I'm Raivo! My life's passion is to learn about the Earth and nature, and I aspire to one day work towards mitigating climate and resource crises, and to help preserve our beautiful planet.
As a third year geology undergraduate, I have a lot of experience in my field, and I am very keen to share what I have learned to younger students, and not only help with their education, but to hopefully motivate them to pursue their passion.
My tutoring style is to not only be an educator, but a mentor, so I welcome any questions for advice about university, career etc.

Having tutored A level biology for a year, I learned that a crucial aspect of tutoring is to make the lessons as personalised and interactive as possible to my tutee, so that is my aim for every lesson.
This applies to the course plan itself, as I design it with my tutee, identifying strengths and weaknesses, so that they can get the maximum benefit from the lessons.
Providing flexibility is a massive priority of mine, and I often say 'nothing is set in stone' meaning lesson content, schedule, structure etc. can all be changed to suit your needs.
I usually plan my lessons to be about an hour long, focussing on either theory and quizzes, or exam practise, but I encourage students to email me outside of lesson time for any additional support.
