About Erika

With a B.S. and M.S. in geology and a minor in biology, I am an expert in the natural and environmental sciences. My strong passion for these areas of study has made me a dynamic instructor who brings just as much enthusiasm as expertise to her lessons. I have 10 years of experience as an educator, including one-on-one tutoring, success and admissions coaching, high school and college course instruction, and museum education.

About the lesson

Learning is about more than good grades, it’s about good vibes too!

The secret to my success as an educator is my ability to connect and truly meet students where they are at. I know that science can be challenging, and I am here to help you feel more confident and perhaps even excited to learn. Anything is possible with the right support - let’s see what we can accomplish together!

My guiding principles: Listen. Empathize. Encourage. Inspire.
