About Sam
I am a father of two, a boy and a girl, from South Wales. I studied Geography BA at university, worked at a toy shop for a few years, before gaining my teaching qualification and becoming a teacher at an online school. I became a teacher due to my love of the subject and a number of inspirational teachers who I looked up to. I have been teaching for 5 years at an online school and have thoroughly enjoyed each one.

I have loved learning about Geography since I was a child, and this ultimately led me to want to teach it. My current students have told me that I am very good at making Geography enjoyable and engaging, even when it’s probably not their favourite subject. I am very friendly, approachable and aim to create a relaxed environment in which to learn and thrive. I will work with you to figure out how you learn best, and tailor my lessons to this.
