About Erin
Hello! My name is Erin, and I am a professional person who is committed to helping students achieve and build long-lasting confidence for the future. My passion lies in breaking down intimidating subjects into clear concepts through personalised instruction. My journey as a tutor is built on one belief: every student will excel when given the tools, the environment and the support. I know how hard it can be at school, finding a subject challenging and know that subjects are sometimes harder than others. Let’s try and break it down together!

I believe that learning should be an active and enjoyable process, rather than a boring and passive lesson. My goal is to build genuine confidence and foster those important skills such as critical thinking. I will break down challenging concepts into digestible steps. I have 11 GCSEs, grades A-A+ in English, and have a high ability all round. I will do active recall, targeted practice and use visuals to make it easier to understand. Lessons will be for 60 minutes, beginning with 5 minutes of review and recall followed by covering new material and concepts. Lessons for children aged 5/6-11!
