About Madeleine
I’m a qualified secondary maths teacher with a PGCE and around 12 years of GCSE tutoring experience. I’ve also worked as a GCSE maths examiner, so I understand exactly how marks are awarded and what examiners look for. I’m calm, patient and well-organised, and I specialise in helping anxious or under-confident students rebuild their skills and trust in themselves. Lessons are structured but friendly, with clear goals and regular feedback, so students and parents always know how things are progressing.

My GCSE Maths lessons are calm, structured and tailored to each student. A typical session is 1 hour, usually online, with clear explanations, guided practice and plenty of exam-style questions. I’m a qualified secondary maths teacher (PGCE), ex-GCSE examiner and have 12 years’ tutoring experience. I specialise in supporting Year 11 students sitting GCSE Maths in summer 2026, especially those who feel anxious about the subject or are aiming to secure a strong pass at Foundation or Higher tier.
