About Alex
My name is Alex, I believe I am the ideal tutor for you as I understand why people struggle with Maths or want to achieve even higher. When I studied GCSE maths, it was one of my least favourite subjects but I managed to work hard at it to achieve well. Over time I have learned to enjoy Maths and have become much better. I want to be able to share this with you to help you to improve your ability at maths and hopefully improve your enjoyment towards the subject. I have learned many ways to be able to teach the subject in order to help and support you so that it becomes easier to learn. I am also flexible to help you to work on any particular area which you want to focus on.

I am able to offer personalised tutoring to suit the needs of the tutee. I offer online tutoring sessions to help to teach and improve the tutee's skills in GCSE maths. I offer tutoring to anyone studying GCSE maths at any age. Having been through the same exams recently I am able to sympathise and understand the struggles some may face when learning maths and so I have learned from my experience as a student and a tutor on how to help a tutee to understand a concept better. Sessions last for an hour usually but can be flexible to accommodate. I have achieved GCSE maths grade 8 and A-level maths grade A. I am currently working towards A-level further maths predicted an A*. I have also tutored previous students who have all had an improvement in their grades.
