About Arsham
Hi! I’m currently studying A-Level Maths, Physics, and Chemistry here in Leeds, but my path into the UK system wasn’t the usual one. I moved from Italy and ended up taking all my GCSEs with only five weeks to prepare. It was intense, but it forced me to learn how to study smart, focus on what actually matters for the exam, and break topics down quickly. That experience is a big part of why I enjoy tutoring now. I’ve also been helping my younger sister with her GCSEs, and that’s where I realised I’m good at explaining things in a way that actually makes sense. I don’t rush through topics. I take the time to figure out what a student already understands, where the gaps are, and what’s holding them back. Once I know that, I build the lesson around their needs rather than following a rigid structure.

My tutoring is aimed at GCSE students who want clearer explanations, better exam technique, or just more confidence in Maths. Whether someone is aiming for a pass or pushing for top grades, I adjust the pace and style to what works best for them.
Why Choose me : I’ve studied in two countries, so I understand different teaching methods I’m currently doing A-Levels, so GCSE content is fresh and easy for me to explain.
Teaching methodology : I start by identifying the student’s strengths, weaknesses, and confidence level. From there, I create a clear plan that includes: Step-by-step explanations of key concepts Worked examples to model problem-solving Guided practice with exam-style questions revision strategies tailored to the student Regular check-ins to track progress I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and focused on long-term understanding rather than memorisation.
Lesson Length : A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which allows enough time to explain a topic, practise questions, and review any difficulties. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed, especially closer to exams.
