About Jiaqi
I am a bilingual (Mandarin & English) tutor with strong academic performance and solid teaching experience in GCSE Maths. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths and have worked with a number of students in the UK, supporting them through 1-to-1 tutoring tailored to their individual learning styles and needs. My lessons are usually 60 minutes long and focus on building confidence as well as exam readiness. I specialise in areas such as algebra, geometry, arithmetic, and trigonometry. Depending on the student’s preference, I can deliver lessons entirely in English, or with Mandarin support to aid understanding for bilingual or international learners. I aim to make learning clear, structured, and encouraging. Every student is different, and I work patiently to identify their challenges and help them overcome them. My lessons are suitable for KS3 and GCSE students, especially those preparing for upcoming exams or needing extra support to bridge knowledge gaps.

I offer one-to-one GCSE Maths tutoring with a flexible and student-centred approach. I teach in both English and Mandarin, depending on the student's preference or need, especially helpful for students from bilingual or international backgrounds. My lessons are typically 60 minutes long and tailored to the student’s pace and goals. I focus on building strong foundations in algebra, geometry, arithmetic, and trigonometry. I explain concepts clearly, using real-life examples and practice questions to ensure understanding. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Maths myself and have experience tutoring students in the UK both online and in person. I specialise in helping GCSE and KS3 students build confidence, fill knowledge gaps, and prepare for exams effectively.
