About James
Due to the relative recency of completing my own GCSEs (2022), I have found success in helping to improve the grades of other GCSE students over the last couple of years. Through tutoring, I have already improved the grades of 2 students from a 4 to a 6 by using my tutoring methodology. Having both a thorough knowledge of GCSE maths but also the ability to relate to the position that a student will be in, I feel more than capable to help others improve in the subject.

I will be holding hour-long GCSE maths revision sessions over Zoom calls. These sessions will either include a specific topic of focus (in which case I will explain the topic in detail before moving onto progressively complex practice questions, covering all bases) or they can be more general by going through a complete exam paper. I will go through the paper myself before the session so that I can efficiently prepare to teach the content to the student rather than railroading them towards the correct answer without a proper learning experience taking place.
