About Medion
I took Further Maths at GCSE and then Maths and Physics as A-Levels and am now studying psychology in university, because I like numbers.
Despite that, throughout school I struggled with statistics so much that I hated it and would avoid doing worksheets so I didn't have to face not knowing. Lessons felt like another language and I was never able to replicate the methods beyond one answer. Because I didn't understand fundamentally what each question required. Once I realised that, I went online to find explanations of *why* doing something gets the right answer and why something else is unrelated and I was finally able to pick the right tools to use.
For me it was statistics, for others it's algebra or geometry. Whatever it is for you I want to help you feel confident in answering questions of any format. Because I know how frustrating it is to not be able to even start answering, and it can be overcome.

Lessons can be from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what the student needs.
I will explain concepts, including the theories behind why those processes are being used (because context helps you understand and understanding helps you remember). I will go through some example questions to demonstrate the technique, then provide help while you work on some questions yourself.
Longer lessons can fit more wordy or challenging concepts or questions with multiple skills involved, while shorter lessons will be more like assisted revision than fresh learning.
