About Alan
I started KS3 with little to no knowledge about how to revise. As a result, I started off with below average grades. It was only after several attempts of different revision strategies that I managed to find what actually helped me. There isn't one revision strategy that works with all students, but there are different ways to find out which one works best for you. Understanding a new concept was a lot easier for me as I created memorable analogies in my head. This especially helped me with topics such as electricity in physics, which is notoriously a difficult topic for everyone.

Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour. I tailor my lessons to the individual students, so can increase or decrease the pace of the lessons depending on how confident the student is. For difficult sections, I create supplementary exercises to target the difficulties and bring every topic to a great understanding.
