About Alchemy
I'm a third year Medical Student at Newcastle University. Part of the reason I chose medicine is because it's a career that has lots of opportunities to teach- something I find extremely rewarding.
Before university I volunteered as a tutor for secondary school students in my community, providing academic support and homework help. I'm currently part of a society that offers health education to primary school children.

My approach to maths tuition is building my students' confidence and technique with tailored sessions suited to their learning style. Some students may prefer going through examples methodically- others may prefer diving into past paper or using whiteboards.
I know how anxiety-inducing maths can be; I went from dreading every maths lesson to getting a 9 in GCSE and taking it at A-level. I know how to help students improve and even learn to love maths because I have been there myself!
