About Jack

I am a 17 year old student, currently in sixth form. I achieved a grade 9 in Edexcel GCSE Mathematics. I am taking Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A - Level. Over the past year, I have tutored over 15 students in GCSE Computer Science and GCSE Mathematics, ranging from year 7 to 11.

About the lesson

I am a tutor who is willing to vary lessons to fit around the needs of each individual students. I am here to help with general problems, homework and to try and improve your exam technique and mathematical skills. I can give and help you work through math papers and mark them for you whilst also teaching you specific areas of the specification. I will find questions and revision work for you and I can help with homework. I achieved a grade 9 in Edexcel GCSE Mathematics. I have experience tutoring students in both Edexcel and AQA GCSE Mathematics but I am able to teach any specification (content is exactly the same). Over the past year, I have tutored 3 students in Mathematics ranging from year 7 - 11. I am now studying Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-Level. Lesson times can vary with maximum being 2 hours. All lessons are online.

Jack is an incredible tutor and helped me passed my maths course!
I failed my GCSE maths in school, then again in college when I did the maths functional skills course but with the help of Jack I finally managed to pass! I’m so pleased I met him! He helped me to gain the qualification I’ve been wanting/needing for years… and at my own pace. He never rushed me or made me feel under pressure, which I felt in school and my first year of college.
He’s very professional but also extremely friendly and easy to talk to.
In other learning environments I felt very uncomfortable, repeatedly, asking the tutor to go over a certain question with me when I didn’t understand how to work it out but Jack never made me feel like this. He would go over it as many times as I needed and made me feel really at ease.
Thank you so much Jack, I wouldn’t have been able to pass it without you!
